All this talk about ‘inspiration’ is nonsense. All in all, it is a really interesting book and reveals the techniques ugrney a master. However, I do feel that his level of painting is so advanced, that a lot of what he is teaching went over my head and was not useful to me.

They are a product of mixing of his real life experiences, carefully researches anatomy, and basic drawing skills.
