Like every other book that tries to break the shackles of the usual story-telling into something very non-contemporary, it is totally up to the reader if he wants to accept the standpoint or not. Not that I was always under the blind impression of the goodness of Pandavas, I somehow knew all is not what it is portrayed as, yet this book w My first book by this much praised author and I must say I totally loved it.

He is an expert in retelling, remaking, aaya and questioning. This is the first book in a series of two books The thought itself held so much promise. But at the same time he is naive and gullible.
Poets became paid copywriters to glorify the carnage. Anand has depicted how story could be if Suyodhana was not an evil person. The beauty of the Mahabharat i Ajaya is the synthesis between the author’s attempt to portray the other side of the coin, and a generous dose of fiction. The infinite shades are nothing but infinite perspectives. The characters are same but each one of them is a different shade fhe gray in Anand’s version.
